About the Permanent Collection
The world renown permanent collection of the Koshare Museum contains more than 5,000 pieces of art and artifacts highlighting Native American and western life in the Southwest and the Plains of America. Highlights of the collections includes pottery by Maria Martinez, original artwork from the Taos and Santa Fe Art Colony Founders, an original Fredrick Remington Bronze, and a large collection of Native American basketry and pottery. In addition to the permanent collection, the Koshare Round Room (inspired by ancient architecture of the Anasazi) boasts the world’s largest self-supported log ceiling.

Costs
Regular Museum Visits:$3 per person for visits to the museum only.

Show Admission (June – July): $4 per person for group of twenty or more.

Youth Hostel
The Koshare Museum is available for overnight accommodations for youth groups every day throughout the year except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
Reservations for overnight accommodations are required.
For Overnight Accommodations: $6.50 per person per night with a $100 minimum per night.
Koshare Shows
Join the Koshare Dancers for our interpretive performance featuring dances from the Plains. For more than eight decades, these performances have become extremely popular with individuals and groups from around the world. Combine your visit to the Koshare Museum with a visit to Bent’s Old Fort for a memorable field trip for your tour group.
